Since 1993 when Rick Smith founded Axon, they have been on a mission to protect life. They have listened, learned and led the way in public safety innovation. Rick believed the way to solve problems permanently and deeply was through technological change. He vowed to dedicate his career to developing public safety technology that would make the world a safer and more just place for all.

Over the last three decades, Axon has remained true to their roots, working alongside public safety and community members to innovate technology to keep people safe. What started as a single piece of hardware in a garage in Arizona has grown into a global ecosystem of life-saving public safety products and partners.
