About Gay and Latasha of USAA’s Phoenix Office

Gay Meyer is Assistant Vice President of HR Operations for USAA. She is responsible for HR operations for the Phoenix campus and the development of an integrated strategy across all USAA regions to include Colorado Springs, Tampa, Plano and Addison. Gay has over 28 years experience in Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management and is passionate about helping leaders create more efficient, agile organizations by understanding change impact and the benefits of early adoption.

Prior to joining USAA in January 2010, Gay was a part of IBM’s Organization Design and Strategy practice where she led change programs for many global transformation and technology-based solutions at Mobil Oil, Exxon, Prudential, Pharmacia, Pfizer, UPS, Campbell’s, Heinz and others. This work took her to over 40 countries and included several long term international assignments in Asia and Europe.

Latasha Causey is the Director; Regional Site Management for USAA’s expanding Phoenix Campus with more than 3,400 employees. She is responsible for assisting the VP/GM with day to day operations of the Phoenix campus, external community initiatives and provides support for USAA’s Military Affairs and government relations for the State of Arizona. Latasha joined USAA in 2007, as part of the HR Talent Acquisition team, supporting recruitment across all USAA locations.

Prior to joining USAA Latasha worked for Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo in various Human Resource leadership roles, having a vast knowledge of the HR field. Latasha holds a Bachelors degree in Communications, Masters of Arts Degree with a concentration in Organizational Management and Professional Human Resources certification (PHR).
