Message from Voya Financial about COVID-19
We are helping Americans to address the financial challenges of COVID-19 by crediting back to our defined contribution plan participants (as permitted by each plan): (1) Fees associated with coronavirus-related distributions allowed under the CARES Act; (2) Hardship distribution fees; and (3) Loan initiation fees. We will also provide — through Sept. 30, 2020 —free access to a range of online resources and to Voya Financial Advisors.
We’ve also enhanced several of our benefits and policies to help our employees and their families stay healthy and get the health care they need, including waiving fees for virtual visits, COVID-19-related testing and home delivery prescriptions; automatically approving the first two weeks for short-term disability and family medical leave requests; and providing education, training and resources to support our employees and their mental health as they transitioned to working from home and caring for loved ones.
