Family will always treat you right
Homeowners Financial Group was founded in 2004. Since then they have proven their commitment to borrowers, while maintaining a culture focused on family. HFG has taken pride in helping people complete one of the most important financial transactions they will ever make – purchasing a home. With exceptional customer service and team members with a passion for what they do, HFG doesn’t just make loans, they put dreams within grasp.
A culture based on values
The corporate values that HFG was built upon have not changed, and are still the foundation of which HFG does business today. The corporate mission includes being recognized as one of the best places to work in the industry by treating employees as family. A Culture Committee advances that mission and keeps HFG’s unique culture fresh.
Family-oriented and Award Winning
The word gets around. HFG has earned an impressive list of awards from notable organizations for excellence in the mortgage industry. A multi-year recipient of Arizona’s Most Admired award, Top Companies award, AREA award, Best Places to Work in Phoenix, ACE award, and Sterling Award, HFG has proven that an award-winning strategy succeeds over time. These accomplishments stem from an unparalleled company culture based on family, and constant community involvement.
The Happiest Place in Mortgage
Would you like to be a “Homie”? This family-oriented, productive and caring workplace is a proven place to build a career. Says CEO Bill Rogers; “We surround ourselves with the right people, and we like to constantly remind them of how grateful we are to have them working with us.” Homies are rewarded through awards, peer recognition, trips, gift cards, meals and company events including picnics and sporting events, trips, and holiday parties. A corporate training department is dedicated to employee professional needs.
A Personal Touch
Homies are encouraged to use their own unique talents to put their personal stamp on the areas they touch. This encourages new and innovative approaches to the business. HFG is fully committed to promoting from within, and since the company is rapidly growing, there are many new opportunities and challenges.
“There is something special about being a Homie, and I felt it during my interview when the CEO stopped to ask about me as a person and my family, and things I am interested in outside of work. HFG cares about each and every employee, and that feeling resonates every day and in every department. The company has an amazing personality, and for the first time in my working career, I can say that I look forward to Mondays.”

The core of the HFG culture is a commitment to give back to the community that has been so important to their success. HFG’s most significant charitable endeavor is the development of the Care Fund. HFG’s President Pat Lamb and CEO Bill Rogers co-founded this nonprofit organization to provide mortgage, rent and housing expense relief to local families during a child’s extended illness or injury. The Care Fund is supported by public donations of time, resources, and funds. Homies also participate in seasonal charitable efforts. A Backpack Drive initiative is only one example of the many ways HFG gives back to the community.
