North America Mines
Freeport operates seven open-pit copper mines – Morenci, Bagdad, Safford, Sierrita and Miami in Arizona, and Chino and Tyrone in New Mexico.
Colorado is home to the company’s two molybdenum mines – Henderson and Climax.
