Google’s Veteran Job Resources

Who knows most about veterans’ strengths than other veterans themselves? With the help of veteran employees, Google created a number of resources to support the community.

  1. Search for Veteran-Led companies. Google has introduced a tool to identify local businesses as veteran-led on Google Search and Maps. As a result, veterans can more easily find veteran entrepreneurs for professional support or job opportunities.
  2. Search ‘Jobs for Veterans’. As of 2018, service members can search ‘jobs for veterans’ on Google and then enter their specific military job codes (MOS, AFSC, NEC, etc.). Then, the results will show relevant civilian jobs that require similar skills to those used in their military roles.

MilitaryHire.com

Since 2000, MilitaryHire has been successfully connecting veterans and employers. These employers appreciate the character, skills, and service of the veterans they hire. Finding a job through MilitaryHire is simple and only takes a few steps. First, create an account, then post your resume and get started searching for jobs.
