In her first full year as President and CEO, Kathy Mills restructured and expanded the executive team and several departments to align leadership more directly with DNAZ’s mission. 85% of staff expressed confidence in executive leadership, while 92% agreed their manager or supervisor cares about their concerns.

DNAZ earned Top Workplaces recognition for the fourth year in a row, based entirely on staff feedback. 98% say their job makes them feel part of something meaningful, 94% say DNAZ operates by strong values and 93% feel genuinely appreciated. DNAZ was also recognized as one of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies.

17,000 School Supplies + Nearly 300 Veteran Care Packs
In 2025 alone, DNAZ staff donated more than 80 backpacks and 17,000 school supplies for at-risk children and put together almost 300 care packs for homeless veterans. Each staff member also receives eight hours of volunteer time annually to help an organization of their choice.

47 Livers Rescued — Up From 22
Technology-driven improvements helped DNAZ rescue 47 livers, up from 22 in 2024, and 55 kidneys, compared with 36 the previous year. DNAZ also became the first organization in the world to transport a donated kidney via commercial airline while continuously perfused using the Paragonix KidneyVault™ system.
