Maggie’s Place provides life-changing programs and services for homeless pregnant and parenting women, and their children, by offering a warm and welcoming community, a safe place to live and learn, and ongoing services to help them become self-sufficient.

Every day, countless pregnant women find themselves without a roof over their heads, unsure of where their next meal will come from—or how they’ll care for the life growing inside them.
At Maggie’s Place, we provide safe shelter, emotional support, and essential resources to pregnant women experiencing homelessness. But we can’t do it alone.

Ways to Volunteer with Maggie's Place
Individuals
- Board of Directors – Serve as a member of our Board of Directors to help guide strategic direction, governance, and financial oversight.
- Childcare Assistance – Help care for infants or young children while our moms attend group or classes at the FSC.
- Committees – Lend expertise as a member of one of our committees including Communications, Finance, Fundraising, Marketing and Volunteers.
- Event Planning – Help plan events such as our annual gala.
- Host Donation Drives – Collect essential items like diapers, baby clothes, maternity wear, hygiene kits, or household supplies.
- Meal Preparation and Serving – Cook and serve meals.
- House Helper – Assist with household tasks, gardening, cleaning, administrative, work, crafting, holiday/event decorating, special projects, etc.
- Community Night Speaker
- House Coverage – On-duty support for staff and management of home, be present in community space and build healthy relationships with the home.
- Sort donations and assist with administrative staff projects.
Corporations and Groups
- Committees – Lend expertise as a member of one of our committees including Communications, Finance, Fundraising, Marketing and Volunteers.
- Facility Maintenance & Beautification – Assist with cleaning, paint rooms, organize supplies, help with landscaping projects or minor repairs.
- Holiday or Milestone Events – Host baby showers, birthday celebrations, or holiday parties for the mothers and children.
- Organize Donations and Spaces – Sort and restock donated items, clothing, baby supplies, toiletries, etc.
- Special Events – Help Maggie’s Place by volunteering the day of at one of our fundraising events (annual gala) or an event we host for our moms (Back-to-School, Trunk or Treat).
- Serve Saturdays – First Saturday of each month 10-12 groups of 8-10. Bring your church group or family to volunteer in one of our homes.
