At BestCompaniesAZ, our goal is to spread the word across the US, that Arizona is a best place to work and live. Here's how we do it:
- Through our website, we identify and promote Arizona's best places to work, best careers and best practices and showcase them on our exclusive website. We help Arizona employers attract and retain a talented workforce, particularly in those industries experiencing a shortage today or a projected shortage in the next ten years.
- Through Best Companies in Arizona competitions, we foster a healthy competitive spirit across the state for improving Arizona workplaces.
- By offering employee surveys and best practice benchmarking, we help raise workplace standards across the state by benchmarking performance today and into the future for Arizona employers.
- We operate like an agency for the Best Companies in Arizona by delivering a unique employment branding and advertising service.

BestCompaniesAZ provides a unique mix of branding, human resources, marketing/public relations and organizational programs designed to "Recognize Best Companies of Today and Build Best Companies for Tomorrow."

Both active and passive job seekers choose our website to research and find Arizona's best places to work. BestCompaniesAZ (BCAZ) ranks Arizona's best places to work by asking the employees questions about their employers and using proprietary methods of survey techniques and benchmarking.
We Help Employers
We recognize the best companies in Arizona and promote them through corporate and association partners, local events, the media and our corporate website. We allow the best companies in Arizona to showcase and promote their offerings in order to help them increase brand awareness and/or recruit business and management professionals or employees with industry-specific experience or specialized vocational training. Additionally, any employers wanting to learn best practice tips or ideas from AZ’s BEST can access resources or showcase their products and services in our vendor gallery.
Our Partners
BestCompaniesAZ partners with human resource groups, chambers of commerce, professional associations, state colleges and universities, media and/or publication entities, and other economic organizations to encourage participation across the state and to recognize and showcase all of Arizona's best places to work.
History
BestCompaniesAZ’s vision of recognizing and building great workplaces evolved in 2003 with the launching of the Metro-Phoenix “Best Places to Work” in the Valley program founded by BestCompaniesAZ in collaboration with the GPTW Institute, Fortune magazine’s research partner, and published by The Phoenix Business Journal. In 2004, we shifted research partners to Quantum Market Research to make it more affordable for all employers to get involved. Now with the Metro-Phoenix program in its 6th successful year (2008) with a firm foundation behind, BestCompaniesAZ is expanding our business model statewide so that all of Arizona's best places to work can reap the benefits associated with promoting workplace excellence.
Future
BestCompaniesAZ will expand its website with the goal of recognizing and promoting the best employers in all of Arizona increasing our state's exposure nationwide as one of the best places to work and live in the country. Our website showcases only the best companies in Arizona that promote dynamic corporate cultures and have been recognized as a “best company” on local Phoenix, Arizona state, and/or national “best places to work ” lists.
